Thank you very much for this teaching.
Every single Catholic boy and girl should be given a similar explanation of the mass. This was excellent… I'm saving it for viewing any time I need it and I'm forwarding it to my family. Thank you so much for such a fantastic explanation of a the sacred mass. Bless you.
I was born into a catholic family but never really payed attention to mass as I’m older now I tried to become a Christian but when I go to church it doesn’t really feel holy. Decided to try the catholic mass and I felt like we were really worshipping Jesus .
I Love being Catholic. I have to get back to Church.
God Bless you for this – I am sharing it. It was not overly anything – it was excellent and I could have listened to another hour of details.
Did the sun and moon go dark? Something something about Christ's return in scripture, not in tradition
The Bible prophecies against Catholicism.
1 Timothy 4:1-5 "4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, 3 who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer."
Nuns and Priest are forbidden from marriage. And certain food are forbidden at Lent. The Catholic church is of demons as the God says in his Word.
We need this on every parish in the world. 99% of Catholics have no clue of the mass parts. You also need to say almost every part of the mass that has he priest says it’s from the OT NT. B 14:39
Went to my first ever mass, and my first time going to church since a child (over 20 years), and am going to mass again this morning!
Father: deep dive why there’s more EXPERTS than Catholic Parishioners 😮😮
Thank you for a great exclamation of the mass.❤❤❤
Beautiful explanation Father. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Massachusetts. I have a degree in Criminology. Judge King taught me Probate Law. District Attorney taught me one course in Criminology. I thank God for the Lutheran day care next door I'm still Catholic.

So sad. not much people attending mass ,, this church is almost empty ..
This is an excellent guide to the Liturgy. Thank you.
Thank you for this.
This was amazing, thank you so much. My family and I are new believers and I love the Catholic mass but my husband and daughter were pretty confused so I am going to have us all watch this video together as a family, so we can be a bit more educated when going to a Catholic mass for the second time. Thanks again!
I greatly appreciate this resource, Father! I work in healthcare so I can’t attend our Archdiocese’s OCIA retreat this weekend, so I’ve been provided some study resources by our volunteers and also found this on my own… on the topic of St. Cecilia, that is my parish in Omaha. You must visit the cathedral someday! We are hosting an orchestra here during the winter!
Currently converting from being Muslim to Catholicism. I am currently going through OCIA (formerly known as RCIA or still maybe I’m not sure… Forgive me…) I am getting baptized and I’ve never been baptized before. It’s a lot to learn and can be a tad intimidating at times, but I’m excited for the journey. As I told my mentors that my biggest concern is offending someone during mass because I don’t know what I am doing or what it means. They suggested this lovely video to check out. Think I just psych myself out at times. Peace and blessings to you all and I wish you well on your journey. We got this! ☮️♥️🙏🏾🫂🌼
Thank to comrade god!
I haven't been to church in a few years now, I was raised in a non-denominational church owned by my family. It was all sorts of drama. I've always been so interested and drawn to Catholicism, an interest that I wasn't allowed to dive into when i was younger. I am 19 now and attending my first Mass This December and I couldn't be more excited. Thank you for this video! I was overthinking like crazy!
A superb explanation of the Catholic Mass. I wished this was taught to me 55 years ago.
Thank you so much for this! I’m going to use this in my Sunday religion class with my junior high students to help them understand the Mass. Very well done! ❤️🙏🏻
I grew up JW. I was married very young and traumatized by religion. I left when I was 19 I’m not 38. Today I went to my first mass after studying religions for 10 years. I never touched Catholicism as my mother installed distaste in me regarding Catholic beliefs. I have always disliked JW as a kind as I have always had a hunger for theology and it never satisfied this hunger. In 2 weeks of listening and studying your faith I have learned more about the ancient wisdom In two weeks then in 10 years ! I’m staring a study class at the local church in two weeks !
My favorite quote on the Holy Eucharist is by St. Ignatius who was Bishop of the church in Antioch “I have no taste for corruptible food nor for the pleasures of this life. I desire the bread of God, which is the flesh of Jesus Christ, who was of the seed of David; and for drink I desire his blood, which is love incorruptible” (Letter to the Romans 7:3, A.D. 110).
Awesome video and explanation of the Mass. I learned a lot and will watch this again several times in the future for sure. Thank You Father Bailey and God bless You. ♥️
A big part of the problem is lack of instruction and uniformity in the Catholic Church. I have a 1962 Roman Catholic missal. The structure of the mass today does not follow that missal. I think they should be a uniformity for any Roman Catholic mass that you attend it’s confusing. I understand there’s different readings for different church days in the liturgical calendar, but the skeleton of the mash should remain the same no matter where you attend mass and the readings for the day should be uniform across all Roman Catholic churches it makes it easier to worship as a Roman Catholic in this way.
My birthday is Dec 25. I will be 40 in a couple of weeks.
I was baptized catholic but am a communist and atheist with an interest in religions. My wife and I have been introducing our children (10, 13) to different religions in an effort to give them some exposure so they can make decisions for themselves with regard to religion that aren't just a result of the atheism of their parents.
This Christmas, we will be attending a Mass. Neither my wife nor kids have ever been to a catholic church. Should be an interesting experience.
We previously took them to a mosque and they have been to a protestant service.
Great overview thank you
I see the love of Jesus in your eyes.
Catholic Mass is truly wonderful.
Thank you for this video 😊 it's really helpful!
Thank you for this vid
Yes! Thank you Father 🙏🏻.
Well gone. A great "refresher."✌🏾
Amen
So I attended classes and I converted to Catholicism way back in Easter of 1997; I did not stick with my faith and within a year, I had completely reversed course. Now it is almost 29 years later, and God is pulling me back to the Catholic Church. I’m attending a mass tomorrow morning, and this Thursday I have an appointment for the sacrament of reconciliation at 11 AM. I can’t tell you how much I am thirsty for God and his holy Catholic Church. I cannot wait to receive the holy Eucharist. Have mercy on me oh God., I’m a sinner.
6:09. The music is great imo. Such a good way to get involved emotionally
I’ve been Catholic for 35 years and never new half of these things and always wanted to learn. Thank you ❤
The Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our fath!
Thank you father.
Thank you for this video. I’ve been agnostic most of life and have found faith last year in my late 40’s. Praise to Lord Jesus! ✝️❤️
I look forward to being baptized and confirmation. Our world needs spiritual revival! Pray for us all!
I'm Indonesian. I was born into the Muslim faith, later renounced it, and became an atheist. One day, out of skepticism, I opened the Bible, with pride, thinking it would be just another “Qur’an.” However, by God’s grace, everything began to make sense, and for the first time I felt truly loved. Not as someone who is kind or evil, rich or poor, healthy or sick, but simply as myself. The idea that a living God, who walked among us, would willingly die for me was unlike anything I had encountered in faith. After researching different Christian denominations, I have found my home in the Catholic Church.
Thank you
So helpful father thank you. I can see the love of Christ in your eyes.
Loved it we need that thank you may god bless you
Thank you for explain the catholic mass, I never knew what and what was taking place or why it was taking place. This opens my mind to a new experience at catholic mass . I appreciate hearing this!
Excellent video on the mass. I was raised Catholic and later became a protestant pastor. Served as a pastor for 39 years. However, after much prayer and intense research into ancient documents I have come home to the Catholic Church. I have never been happier.
