  1. His Holy Sacrifice is meeting our Holy Loving and Merciful Father by WAY of His Son, our Lord, in our dearest Lord Holy Spirit. Our Mother is needed most to not bring Him displeasure by our wretchedness.

Most of His priests are rigid planks of wood that He was hung from Most.

  2. Thank you. I’m a seminary student studying interfaith ministry, and we are visit multiple religious organizations to study and learn about them. I was feeling nervous about attending a Mass, and this was a great introduction about what to expect and why!

  3. iLL make this simple for you……. MASS stands for MASSACRE ………….. one of the few things the Catholic Church was any good at. !

  4. Thankyou Fr. Scott
Your presentation shone with such a love for Jesus Christ, and a joy for the Mass. it was a delight and inspirational to learn more, and more about the Mass so I can ponder and pray over all the details and their individual significances.

  5. Every Catholic should hear this. Every Christian should hear this to help them understand our Catholic faith. Thank so much!

  6. I went to catholic church not knowing the traditions. I accidently received communion unworthily because I was just trying to do what everyone else was doing. Hope God forgives me, but I think I screwed up pretty bad

  7. Thank you so much for this! I am just finding my way back to the church after many years of absence. A lot has changed since the masses I grew up with. Some responses have changed. By rote, I still respond, "And also with you" when the priest says, "The Lord be with you". I have no idea when or why it changed to, "And with your spirit". I feel so fortunate to have had the deep roots of the church in my childhood. I am loving being back! 💕

  8. Using this video in my Sacramental Prep class!!! Excellent Video, thank you so very much Fr. Scott and Risen Christ! Your Brother in Christ Robert Our Lady of the Plains (Byers, CO)

  9. Hello! i'm a teen Catholic who's very new to the faith and I'm planning to get baptized soon, this video was really helpful !!

  10. What does it mean when the bells are ringing????

NEVER EVER COMMUNION ON YOUR HANDS!!! OUR HANDS ARE NOT WORTHY OF TOUCHING THE EUCHARIST!!!!
ALWAYS KNEELING AND ON THE TONGUE!!!!!

  11. I attended my first mass Sunday and honestly I was so confused. I grew up baptist, come from a long line of Baptist pastors (my 7× great grandfather lead the traveling church out of virginia to kentucky) but something didn't feel right until I stepped into a catholic church and realized I haven't been home in awhile. the catholic church is my home

  12. I’m returning to my faith and never had such a detailed explanation of the holy mass. This makes me appreciate it even more and how beautiful it truly is. Every move, every single action has a reasoning.

  13. This did not help me at all. It's entirely too fast with entirely too confusing explaining

  14. I was just noticing the Deacon never bowed at the altar or stopped at the altar to genuflect when he approached the altar. He did it again never bowed before the reading, going across the altar everyone should bow or genuflect, Jesus is present in the Tabernacle. This reverence develops a sincerity in how you act before the King.

  15. This REALLY helped me understand. I confess that I was just going through the motions. Now I am so much more aware about the details. It makes me appreciate it so much more. I want to watch it again because my fiance was snoring loudly.

  16. yet another catholic false teacher. trying to tie the roman catholic church to the early Christian church, which is a lie. the roman catholic church began after the Christian church began to compromise the word of God with the wantings of the roman empire. the roman empire, for example, wanted to expand on the doctrine of mary (the pagan mother-son god relationship of pagan sumer) in order to recieve more converts to Christianity (Christianity taught obedience to established authority). many of the catholic doctrines and teachings occurred far after the 4th century church.

  17. Thanks for doing this, very helpful. I do wish we had just one creed. We have the Apostle’s Creed for Rosary, Nicene for mass. So I memorized the Apostle’s, and read the Nicene. I can’t keep them straight otherwise.
