The only false information in this video is about American bulldogs. They're working dog breeds, not for couch potatoes. I had to take my girl from an older couple because they weren't prepared for her. They were used to Westies…
Other than that, great video as always, Adam!
Okay, I know you have done ball python care guides. But I absolutely love them! You have awesome energy and this video is on point🔥
Brought a couple of mine out to watch with me.
We've been strongly considering a Ball Python for about 6 months now, and are researching for another 5-6 months before we purchase. This video was so helpful! We love your channel!

Haven’t got my first snake yet I can’t decide between a ball python or a boa constrictor. Helppppp
Good advice. I remember when I put my ball python in a 4 by 2 by 1 enclosure people told me my male ball python would stop eating, but that has not happened yet and that was a year ago. Now my hog island boa is my pickiest snake and does not like eating small rats even though that is the right size, so I'm stuck with adult mice for now. Maybe once the new enclosure I ordered that is 6 by 2 by 2 come in , that will encourage my hog island boa to eat the correct prey size.
We added a bearded dragon to the room with our ball python (my teenagers snake/beardie which means there is a good chance they are actually mine lol which I knew going in ) and at first we didn’t think to block their view and have done since. Snake seems to be hiding in same hide now and not moving. Is she scared do you think? Thought the idea of making sure they can have some cover between hides for security in general was a great point and I’m going to add some foliage to see if she comes out more. I don’t want her to and didn’t realize they will choose security over temp regulation but of course that makes sense. Thanks!
Hopefully Dave Kauffmans ball python movie releasing Saturday make this obsolete in 3 days 🤣
Absoloutly perfect timing, I'll be picking up my baby in the next few weeks and have done so much research yet you still are able to make it so clear what's at the basis of it all. Thank you dude <3
Can you do a video on Peters Banded Skink, or Arid Skinks in general.
A good guide if I want my FIRST ball python fell in love with them since I was a kid from a female, named Ginger and she made a GOOD impression on me. She was the one to actually get me into reptiles, and if I get a good female, then I'm naming her Ginger in honor of the snake that wasn't like they are in the movies. She was a sweet girl and was a good eater too. She wasn't mine, but more of my older brother's snake, but STILL, and it was a time when I was just a little kid, but still at that age and it was when he was living with us. When he brought home that snake, I was mesmerized. Since then, I couldn't forget her.
So glad you posted this!! Just got one recently 😊
You should do a aquatic turtle care guide
Please do boa constrictor bci I really want one
Leachinus care and how to identify their gender please. Thank you so much.
Do you have any advice for switching over to frozen thawed? I've been trying to get mine to switch for months and she just has no interest
hey thanks for using my vid idea! 🙂
great vids!:)
I wish i could get a snake nobody sells them here 😭, bty thanks for the guide keep up the good work and wish u well!!
The only thing I’ve had problems with since getting my ball python is humidity. Maybe once a year—mostly in summer, because my house isn’t climate-controlled at all—I’ll see a tiny patch of discolored scales on his side or back, and I’m always paranoid it’s scale rot or something. It never spreads and I try to lower his humidity as much as I can, but even using aspen or paper towels isn’t enough sometimes.
