  1. Asking my dad for a corn snake and we are going to a professional about it so I can handle one!!! I’m so excited

  2. I have an average of 55-60 humidity level (according to what I searched in google) will this be alright? during colder months it will go down

  3. Where should I look for a corn snake for cheap? Im located in California Orange County.

  4. i was wondering, how early should you start handling your snake? i have a friend who currently has a corn snake, and she said that you shouldn’t handle them when they’re too young. is she right?

  5. I always wanted a corn snake, their personality is just something that drew me in so finally after years of dreaming I will buy one, thanks for the guide!❤

  6. New to your channel . . . LOL, I always wondered how frozen rats and mice were put down. You just answered that. I am about to get my daughter her first corn snake. We are in San Bernardino, California and want to purchase from a reputable seller. Any recommendations? I don't want to purchase from a box store like Petco or PetSmart.

  7. Had corns for years but always looking for updated guides to give my boy the best care. May get some fake plants as he isn't overly bold

  8. I don't have any pets because I can't afford to keep any right now but if I would get a snake it would be either a corn snake or a ball python

  9. Oh geez! I was not told at the pet store I'd need anything near that large for an enclosure! We don't have that kind of space… Well, guess we can knock down a wall or two, lol.

  10. Hh my skn has a corn snake loves him to bits well behaved no problem thanks gir advice❤

  11. Would you recommend radiant heat or halogen for a pvc enclosure? Which is better?

  12. I had my corn in an exo terra with uth for 3 years. I’m getting pvc enclosures. Which do you recommend radiant heat or halogen in the pvc?

  13. I got a corn snake last week, the humidity has been reading at 80% I'm trying to lower it but have hit a brick wall

  14. I just lever SEWERFEST and got a real cool motely striped cornsnake, and he is my fourth snake so I was just making sure I knew all I needed.

  15. Oh man. Thanks for all the tips. I was on the fence because the 75 gal terrariums are already like $400+, so if I need an even bigger one, I'll definitely have to wait on it for now. But the tips and notes about their feeding, temperatures, substrates, and behaviour are all great. I'm going to save this for later!

  16. ive got two beautiful corns although both are both very cheeky. They are so different from eachother, i love having them and make great pets along with my other reptiles!

  17. are you 100% against life pray? i am getting into snakes but there is something i find interesting and that is life pray

  18. You've sold me on the okeetee tessera! I've seen Korn in some of your other videos and HAD to get one of my own! I'm so sorry to hear that he's since passed ❤️ But great info as always!

  19. My new boy is gonna be with me next weekend and just doing some refresher video watching. The last little guy I had failed to thrive 😢

  20. I love our corny Sonny Dayz. He is about 4.5 ft long and a rescue. His enclosure is 6ft tall but he couldn't care less. He does however enjoy his out of enclosure tree time.

  21. Starting out what would you put a baby 12 inch corn snake in?? My petstore has one I have been looking at for a few months.

  22. Fantastic video, I would however love if more people mentioned living in colder climates. I live in Scotland and during the day it’s sometimes only 10-15c.. I simply cannot keep a snake Viv warm enough with a heat mat alone. This may be obvious but to beginners it’s not. And yes my snake is warm on the heat mat but then it never leaves.. I got a heat bulb on a dimming stat and boom. Such a difference 🙂

    Again amazing videos 😊

  23. Awesome! Came here to fact check myself after setting up my first snake tank! Thank you!

  24. i did get my first snake ever today. it's a young(less than a year) Corn snake Tessera Ockerti i was going between a Hognose or an Corn snake. after handeling both and considered i have kids, i went after some months of research for the Corn snake. nice and informative videos by the way!

  25. So what about small breeding toats for these guys if your main focus is breeding? Is that bad for them because it’s obviously not 120 gallon enclosure?

  26. Just got my very first Corn Snake and your video was so helpful! I have always had Ball Pythons and once as a kid a Burmese Python, but I am super happy with choosing a Corn snake this time around she is so sweet and her personality is so friendly.

  27. Hi! Do you know where we could find a "normal"/not-fancy-morph corn snake to adopt or buy from a reputable breeder? We're in Virginia, and we've looked at reptile rescues, Morph Market, and Repticon. The Raleigh Repticon only had fancy morphs selling for over $100+++. Thank you!

  28. Super helpful! I'm researching to find a good snake for my son. Looks like corn snake will be it.

  29. Thanks for your video! I'm researching corn snakes as a potential first reptile pet and have a question: is it ok to have a taller enclosure?

I've noticed that a lot of the snake enclosures I see aren't super tall, but I wanted to know if that was just because a shorter enclosure is less expensive or if a shorter enclosure is better for the snake or what.

  30. Question, does anyone know if you could keep a growing corn snake or juvi in a 40 gallon till it’s 4,5-6ft long or adult and then buy the 120 gallon? Because I would love to get one.
