I wonder if it would be possible for me to buy one that's a bit older rather than a very young snake. I'm almost going to turn 47 and I do worry that if it's several more years before I can even get a pet snake that it might outlive me. Maybe if I got one that was already half way through its life then that would be less likely to happen.
