“I can say without a doubt that there are an infinite number of universes. Some are just like our own… but for one or two significant events, exactly the same.” -Lex Luthor

DC is big. Even as far as fictional settings are concerned, few have literally infinite universes to explore. So, how big is infinity? And does anything out there relate to anything in here? Alternate realities and higher planes of existence are just science fiction tropes, right? Today, we’re exploring the smallest thing in the universe to the entirety of existence itself to see just where it all falls on The Imaginary Axis! The implicate and explicate, the possible and impossible, Heaven, Hell, and every conceivable universe! Strap in and DON’T PANIC!

  1. I’m not gonna lie a lot of the super complicated science stuff goes over my head but I still enjoys the content

  2. "Infinite realities. All real, all equally true"…
Yeah, good luck convincing that to the people who complain whenever Batman or Superman kills anyone. They seem to just ignore the possibility of them not being the version they want them to be, and act like there's only one definitive version that should be set in stone.

  3. There are, when I first counted and before I first came to this planet, there were 26.2 billion dimensions and 16.2 trillion realms. There are many and I mean hundreds of millions of worlds that on the surface or from far away look exactly like earth but are not in any way at all like Earth. The human species is a unique species even with in the billions of dimensions and within the trillions of realms. The reason the human species is unique, the being that humans called God, as a punishment he was forced to create the human race and he made us unique. Because even if we are cloned, the original can be told apart from the clone because all of the original hast to do is think about some thing only the original would think about. But in all of the dimensions and all of the realms and in all of the planes of existence, there is only one species of humans and that is us. There are many upon many hybrids and copies of us but they are not human beings, they are something else.

  4. Tyler: There could be an unfathomable number of universes out there, vibrating through a higher dimension.
Tyler: *also eats one of these infinite universes.
    Makes me think….

  5. Through a grand unified theory (superstring theory), every possibility is possible. We can def make an argument that vibrations and frequencies generated by the strings are part of everything even for a higher dimensional tiering system that includes the source wall and beyond within the DC cosmology. However, when we get into the spatial higher dimensions, it becomes hard to illustrate and to explain it as we are only 3D beings i.e what would any object or being look like in 6th or 11th dimension? So, The question becomes can a 3D being survive in a higher spatial dimension? Another great question is are we already part of a higher spatial dimension and we just can’t perceive or see it at all? I believe these questions will have answers soon with empirical data; in fact, with the recent Large Hadron Collider experiment, scientists are coming closer in validating different dimensions and perhaps different time lines. We have come far very fast, with these type of experiments and advancing the nano and femto meter technology, I believe it’s just the beginning of a new different era of understanding a little of our universe and beyond – perhaps even a multiverse. Imaginary Axis you make great videos with great content… keep it up

  6. Tyler, I hope you see this comment in the sea of obscurity lmao but I love your videos and I'm bummed you've only uploaded once in 2021, I'm sure you got a lot of personal stuff going on. Your videos are so much fun to watch, you're like the Vsauce of comics. Take care man, I hope you have a fantastic 2022!

  7. I involutarily answered "your mom" to the first question… what have i become…

  8. When I collected comics back in the 80s…. I got 2 DC/marvel crossovers. Spiderman VS superman and Hulk VS Batman. I still have the hulk comic. Since both DC and marvel are doing multiverse stuff….. Any rumors or speculation about such a crossover? Please drop my name if I start a wildfire here.

  9. I would love an explanation on what a subdimension is because that is what DC calls the sphere of the gods and how that differs from a regular dimension

  10. dont put so much pressure down on. the knife while cutting bread let the serration of the knife do the work for you

  11. You said," Is there a world where a Man is a woman and people are Vampires…?" Yes. It's THIS one.!

  12. Actually parallel still exists. No matter how small, change into opposite gender, become ruler, a mere villain, or monstrous.
Even Superman met Injustice Superman or Red Son Superman or Nazi Superman though. Nonetheless.

  13. I always love listening to your explanations, fries my brain sometimes, but I always learn something new about DC or Marvel
