1:59 actually you can pass the sensor and it doesn't enter you again for that sensor for a few seconds. Example: You pass North to fix lights, but people fix it as you pass the sensor. If you then go back, it won't register that you triggered it.

Another very important way of finding venting people:
A sensor needs to be passed twice, with the exception of leaving Southwest in beginning and Southeast after body/ emergencies.
If someone activates sensors in this order (example): Southeast, North, North, Southwest, Southeast, they are an impostor! The logs recorded them entering Southwest, but not leaving.
Another example: Southwest, North, Southwest. They are an impostor!
Smart impostors might cross a sensor twice for this exact reason. Based on how recent they cross a sensor, you can tell who's likely an impostor and who's not. If they cross the same sensor within 4 seconds, they're likely an impostor (sus on them).
If someone doesn't cross a sensor for more than 1 1/2 minutes (unless you can confirm they went into decontamination) or didn't cross a sensor at all, I recommend pressing emergency and asking them where they are.
Example: They say they're in medbay but only crossed Southeast and North sensors. They're an impostor!

I once caught a impostor using logs bc i saw a colour onoy passed through one sensor (southeast) the entire game and they were going out of cafe, and there were no reports or emergency meetijgs… i felt like i had a brain as big as detective toast
if someone passed a sensor, keep an eye of them and if they activated other sensor without passing the sensor that they activate earlier then that means that person just vented 🙂
Me : Guys , it’s purple, you see , orange was killed near the logs in comunication and the Southwest sensor , I was checking logs so I decided to see who passed that sensor , and saw that purple passed the same sensor orange was near , also , purple said she was in cafeteria, but the logs says she had to be either in comms / medbay / locker room / desco / reactor / lab , so that doesn’t add up , at least if she vented , which can be only possible if she was impostor
