This man was a ant compared to margrat for me
I had an easier time with Godrick than I did with Margit and the second phase never triggered. I had no idea he had one until I saw it here on YouTube

Has anyone played ds3 if you’ve fought the nameless king this fight is freaking easy compared to him but appreciate the guide for the people who haven’t they have an easier time fighting this guy if this is their first souls like
I beat this dick head with a bow no flex I fucking hated every second but it wasn't that hard

This is so stupid. If you need your hand to be held on THIS boss to point of actively needing to search out a step by step walkthrough, I’m telling you right fucking now, you are going to have a bad fucking time with the rest of the game. The skill curve in this game is incredibly sharp as I’m sure you’ll find out.

I got lucky and my wolf got the last hit right before godrick almost killed me.
I like how he's stating the most important part, RETALIATE. Too often I see moments where the boss finishes a combo and the player just stares em down. You know it happened cuz the boss will also be just staring, like," You just gonna let me do that? Okay".
Bit of a spoiler
But fighting godrick again at the jail is a really fun fight without the flame phase and better upgraded weapons and health. Its fun being skilled enough to jump through his ground pound attacks and see how far you've grown as a player.
Excellent tips! New players will appreciate this. I remember jumping the earthquake attack that Godrick has! Epic moment 😂
This left out many attacks
You forgot the easiest step. Just fight him at lvl 50. Gg
Playing Elden Ring is like fighting Sekiro bosses with Dark Souls 1 movement. Glad that out of everything they could have brought back they chose the worst part of Dark Souks 3 enemy/boss design.
