This guide will help you setup your Xbox so that you can play local co-op on any Xbox game.
Instructions
1. Have 2 controllers connected
2. Press the guide button (Xbox logo in the middle of the controller)
3. Navigate to the settings option (Mine is located under my profile on the right)
4. In the settings menu go to Devices and Connections
5. Go to accessories
6. Click on the 3 dot button below the Xbox controller
7. Click on Turn on copilot

This is great. I have a 9 and 6 year old. They love copiloting. My question, keeping in mind, For grandpa “me” I believe this box should be a lot simple lol. However, I prefer they have there own character in the same game. Should I look for games that will allow 2 players?

Is it just only two controllers or can it play up to four controllers? The reason I asked this particular question cuz it would be a nice work around four player co-op for gears tactics 😃❤️

I dont have the 3 lines At the bottom right. mine shows AAA Player 2 join v1684523 and when I press AAA three times the user ID comes up showing whos connected.

It doesn't help split the screen but it does help if you have two controllers and somebody says how about you play since I'm tired so it actually does work
