Among us is hard because you can't fool a dumbass. Also, the people get really angry when someone votes them out, so in the next round they will pour their whole heart to vote you out
Here's more Tips for Hiding:
Beware for Trackers: If You're getting Sused but didn't get Voted off you have to Act like a Crewmate, This Means you shouldn't kill or Shapeshift or Poof, You also don't have to Vent, this will Make it so The Tracker will Ignore you because it thinks you're a Crewmate
Go in Groups: to Have a Alibi, Go in a Group of Crewmates
Shapeshift into a Partner: Do This Infront of a Partner during a Kill so the Partner Looks Safe
Don't Backstab a Crewmate Friend: It makes Them gain Trust In You
Camp the Cams: This will make it so You look safe again, Just don't stand there
Have a Short Username: People can Find out sooooooooo

Faking tasks also important. As an Imposter you can't just fake every task you see, that's why Fake Task Menu is a thing. Some people change the task amount. For example, the lobby have 1 Common Tasks ( like Wires/Admin Swipe) so doing both while only have one will raise your sus. The best way is to do and ONLY do the task available in the menu
And because like 99.9% of players didn't know this, doing this against inexperienced player will be very good
Self reporting was so so powerful when the game was new
The "He vented" thing doesn't work anymore due to the engineer role.

Convincing the team to vote your imposter teammate out is a good play depending on the situation and you better have a good excuse
Also make sure their no longer a use to your play your teammate(s) are still useful
If theres three ppl left, sabotage comms and kill on of them

White: it wasn't me, i was hiding "at" the vent.
Yellow: i think green is sus
Green: WHAT DID I DO-
Blue: red just vented
Orange: red's dead.
Me (purple) : skip.

These tips are good for beginner Skeld lobbies but it's very very different on Polus, Airship and Fungle lol. More serious players on those 3 maps

Ok so look i gotta relieve myself and tell you what happened so you give me advice:
So i entered a lobby and what i never knew it was they were total goofballs. I was imp in airship that time but it results there were siblings, i killed one and he told his brother and they ended up cheating and kicking me.
After that i entered what i thought would be a good lobby in skeld. The game started and i was crewmate and boom first kill and it results that 2 goofballs banana and orange say vote white with no reason at all (im white) saying idk i dont like him worst part is they voted me and i got disconnected and boom i cant enter games until 26 min have passed. I loved among us but its gettting ruined by goofballs and cheaters.
Any advice for me?

This video has a lot of really bad info that will get you caught if you try it, nake up your own stratergies based on the lobbys settings, map, players intelligence, roles etc

Might work but with how many stupid lobbies there are it's highly likely it won't. You have no idea how far there stupidity goes
Detectives are the biggest problem for an imposter out of any role (though engineers and trackers are a close second.) because of this you’ll want to pay attention and get rid of them as soon as you can. Either you can guess based on if the player asks very niche and specific questions, or wait until they get out one of your teammates. Then get them as soon as you can. Shapeshifters are very powerful for this situation because you can just shapeshift as the detective themself and target them willy nilly. You want to shapeshift as them specifically because you might clear other people if there’s multiple people with the detective
