Today, we will be taking a look at Injustice: Gods Among Us for the iPad. • I will state again and again that Injustice has some complex parts to it. The area of complexity that I will explore today is the “Store”. While there are plenty of things to get in this game, it is important to know what’s worth it before making any purchases. • Accessing the “Store” is easy and just requires a simple click on the button on the main menu. • Once you get into the “Store”, there are four main options that you can choose from. They are “Booster Packs”, “Add Characters”, “Promote” and “Support Cards”. • In the “Booster Packs” option, you are able buy a variety of different booster packs. These range from the simple “Bronze Pack”, “Silver Pack” and “Gold Pack” to the more complex “Challenge Character Pack”. There are also specific packs and packs specifically for “GEARs” and “Challenge Credits”. • While all these may seem appealing, the discounted “Gold Packs” are your best option as they offer the most benefit for the cost. After a while of playing, the “Challenge Character Pack” may be worth it, but it is nothing to worry about early on. • The next option is the “Add Characters” option, which is where you can buy individual characters. While I would avoid buying any characters from here in the beginning due to how expensive they are compared to some of the other items, it is useful to view the stats and abilities of the different characters you could potentially get. • The “Promote” section of the store is fairly simple as it offers chances to buy the cards you need to promote the characters. As I have mentioned other times, promoting characters increases their base stats and makes them stronger overall. • Lastly, the “Support Cards” section contains all the support cards that you can purchase for characters in the game. These supports range from health supports, experience supports, energy supports and power supports for specific characters and some for all characters. • With all these different options, there is plenty that you can buy in this game. While there are definitely appealing options, the best options in the “Store” will be the “Booster Packs” and specifically the discounted “Gold Packs”. By making smart purchases, you can build a strong team and still have money to spare. And that’s all for today.
