That’s literally java I recognize the physics of Minecraft
First of all, that minecraft is not bedrock edition so you edited that in or used dual monitors. Second, in bedrock edition you have to crouch to use shields but in java it is right click. And thrid, bedrock edition does not have item cooldowns, so she you hit something with your sword, it should not go through a cooldown on bedrock but yours did.
You may have used a mod but as far as I know, you edited or screen casted onto the IPad.

Using an iPad (7th Gen) with a keyboard & mouse. I can not figure out how to map the WSAD keys for continuous movement. When I hit the W key it moves forward one step and stops. I want to be able to hold the W key down and move forward until I let go. Anyone figure this out?

this guy is capping. Because minecraft on iOS does not have mouse support and it is not possible to map mouse controls to an iPad. Also he used right-click to use a shield but the characher did not sneak and as my knowledge you need to sneak/crouch to use a sheild in MCBE/MCPE. Rught-click to use sheild is only for java editon, i bes he was screen sharing.

it sort of works for me. i cant hold down the button but i can press it. (edit) i found the problem. In the recipes i chose custom gesture instead of hold to a point. idk how you did it with custom gesture but i had to do hold to a point. Also that Minecraft part is a scam. you hold shift to hold up shield on bedrock and java doesnt exist on ipad.
