I’m usually the smartest person in the lobby so everyone automatically trusts me lmao.
Best tip: abuse vents
More Tips as impostor:
-Make up an alibi
-Dont self report too often
-Vent after killing almost always
-make sure there's a vent in that room
-If someone catches you venting and goes to call a meeting, vent to the cafe and kill them by surprise.
-If someone is doing a task, hop outa the vent and kill and go back to vent.
-Dont do fake tasks for too long if it's easy and short
-And don't fake task it too short if it's a hard task.
-When a body is reported, ask questions about where and how it happened and ask for proof.
-if you kill and walk away and others go that way, sabotage something that'll cause them to go the opposite direction.
-when killing, watch out for active cams. They blink red If someone is watching.
-if someone is gonna leave a room, close that door and kill them, and vent.
-befriend another crewmate and use them as your alibi and make them trust you. Then betray them by killing them. Noone will know you did it because you were their friend. Act upset when someone reports it. Or self report it to show you care.

whenever i get imposter i tell everyone. If I keep on telling everyone, they’ll think that every time i’m The imposter i’ll tell them- so if anyone says im sus, that person gets voted out and i can win a couple rounds before they realize that im not telling them when i get imposter anymore
my least favorite part is when theres that lime and lemon that stick together the entire time and at the end they know it's you cuz they were together and u couldnt have killed either of them cuz they were always together
Hopefully I'm not the only person to use this method, but if you are running somewhere with only two other people, you can kill one person and frame the other :p
If you are an imposter and you are faking a task just wait until the bar goes up and then move. EASY
I found out how to get impostor more:
1. Change your color to Black or Blue
2. Put on the Hockey mask
3. Wait for the game to start, it should work for a few rounds

I love when players vouch for me, it’s so funny because I’m the imposter and they don’t know that. When they start sussing someone I sus that person too, so I don’t get out or I say ‘I honestly don’t know who to pick, I’m gonna skip’ usually works lol”

Among Us is a bad game. Why? Because it's not realistic enough, too much like a fairy-tale. In real life, when you kill someone, you don't have to wait a certain amount of time (aka kill cooldown), you could just kill ten times in the same room. Like, there needs to be a one second kill cooldown. Cuz like bruh its not realistic that way.

When theres 3 players and you are impostor
but their sus of you and wa to do emergency meeting,
Do a sabotage cause they cant call meetings durong crisis
What do you think about a future ability for the imposter to change their color in order to better sew confusion? The draw back would be if a meeting is called before you change back then people will probably notice that you're a different color.
when i get imposter first i go to security and when someone walks in i don't kill them but after a while i go down to admin and go on the admin map look for where there are a couple of people and then sabotage the doors there. but i prefer waiting for someone to walk in then you quickly close that door and if they arent friends who don't stick together all the time they will most likely vote each other out, and i try to get the same person who didnt get voted out stuck in a room again with other people so they think its them and after that i start killing people then closing that door and running away, unlike other people who kill then vent, its more annoying when they sit in the vent the whole game until someone reports the body and they are like "where? anyone sus? did you see anybody???" its really annoying

Hi! I know what to avoid now and I have made some dumb kills. What do you think about closing the doors to a room while you kill someone so that they can't escape? I generally am inexperienced so this was helpful 😀

One of my tips I use:
Don't kill on the first round and gain trust. If you do kill, use the other imposter as an albi.
I'm really good with 2 imposters
sabotaging coms is under–rated it removes the task bar, the admin table, coms, vitals, and also pauses the doorlog. In the next among us update, it will remove the current information on the doorlog. It can stop players from wining due to tasks.
My tip and tricks in being impostor:
1. Go walk somewhere and do a fake task. (Don't do a visual task or a short task infront of someone. It will just make you sus)
2. If no one is around than kill someone.
3. Go to the nearest room and wait for a player to be seen and go with him/her and let him/her report it. Therefore, i can act innocent since we saw the body together.
4. If someone sus you, don't kill that person, it will make you more sus.
If someone notices I didn't fix lights or fake a task, you can see that he/she is going to cafeteria, what I do is:
1. Lock the doors of cafeteria.
2. Kill that person trying to call for an emergency meeting.

I personally use lights right before a kill and comms near the end so that they don't know what their tasks are. Occasionally I'll do reactor to split people up, but I play polis more so comms isnt very useful to drag people somewhere ( because it's in the middle of the map) so it turns out as mainly an end of game sab. I dont play mira that much when I feel the imposter luck coming in because the only imposter advantage there is the vents locking up, no doors and only 3 sabotaged that aren't in good placement to lure people away.
A big tip is that you should votch for someone you saw doing a visual tasks so that they trust you

(This was a 5 player game) I was imposter right. I buddied up with Orange he went to reactor I kill him and vent check cams noone was there so I used watching cams as my alibi pink found the body, I told them I had been watching cams, everyone was blaming pink so I played along. We skipped vote, pink started to follow me I killed pink in electric I faked electric wiring cyan had left time ago (spoiler:I start susing on cyan as he left electric about my kill CD (30 sec) ago) green finds the body, I tell them I saw cyan leave electrical green and black were susing cyan with me so we ejected cyan and I won. No sabotaging no self reports.
My friend recently got me into among us and im a horrible impostor. This videovhelped alot

– Before killing the body, set off a sabotage that would lead people away from the kill, this gives you enough time to maybe kill someone else or to find an ally to stick with
– one strategy is before killing someone, turn off lights, kill the person, then try to vent as fast as you can to electrical/office and turn the lights back on yourself. As everyone is walking in they will see you walking out bc you did it already
