I discovered a pokemon last season that I think might be the perfect counter meta threat.
Choice Scarfed Blaze Breed Tauros. Raging Bull breaks screens and is good fire STAB, close combat, rock slide for coverage, and your choice of coverage for the final move. The scarf allows you to outspeed most of the meta while still investing in bulk. Intimidate is always a good quality. The neutrality to fairy and resistance to Charizard are extremely valuable.

Most Metagrosses have psychic fangs anyways due to it having the highest physical power out of all the psychic moves it learns. Kinda funny. I used Ditto on a Mega Metagross and used it to destroy their aurora veil, and then somehow swept their team with it??? It was weird, given their meta gross was barely damaged and even froze me with Ice punch when it was the last one left, but I somehow out damaged it despite Ditto's lower health pool. I got two crits I guess, but other than that, we just kept hitting each other, mostly with Ironhead.
