f = forward

My friend corner traps in the corner for what seems like an infinite combo by constantly spamming the forward+1 and it PISSES ME OFF I hate it so much, and he does it because he can and doesn't even have to worry about learning freaking combos.
Just push-block him 😉

i sometimes have trouble doing his axe in combos any tips?
You have to push b+4 to get his axe to show up instead of his sword. However, if you have already used his sword, then the axe will come out by default and you can just push 4.
1=X
2=Y
3=A

qcf= down then forward
qcb= down then back
hcf= back then forward
hcb= forward then back
MB= RT

I'm much more eccentric in my online videos, but I have to be more clear during my guides. A lot of my viewers don't have English as their first language. So, I try my best to make things easy for them to understand. Believe me, I'm a goof online lol.

I liked this guide. I usually watch it when I can't get my game down with ares, I'm an ares user by the way. But I've found a 49% combo using only 2 meters. 3 down+2, god smack MB, back+3, jump 2, forward 2 3, sword low then qcf 1 MB.
Thanks for the guide! Any tips for cancelling 1,1,2 and forward 2,3 into qcf+1?
The cancel window seems really weird. Never had issues with cancels in other FGs.

That was amazing. For me, Ares seems to be one of the hardest to do combos with. He's the character I wish was my main, but since I really couldn't play him well, I just casually play him.
