That's less you tricking them, and more to do with you being lucky. Their ping is likely lower than yours, so you were lagging on their end, making it harder for them to catch you

It's not necessary to run when the red dot appears on your location. Just vent, unless it's Comms or Storage.
also a tip, when the player speed is 3 u can loop the seeker in cafeteria
