A quick Beginner’s Guide that tells you all you need to know and doesn’t waste your time! Flash has quick attacks and good mix-ups, but requires meter for most of his high damaging combos. This tutorial will cover every special move, their meter burns, the most useful attack strings, and some basic Bread & Butter combos (mid-screen and corner)!

  1. Yeah if it's more than twenty minutes, it's way too in depth to be useful. It's a knowledge dump.

Grundy may be a good one to go next. Newbs have a hard time with his chain grabs and how to work them into combos, and I'm sure people could benefit from five minutes of knowledge.

  2. I did them both already lol 😉 check them out!

  3. A Green Arrow and Shazam guide would be very much appreciated 🙂

  4. Catwoman Beginner's Guide is finally up! Hope you enjoy it 😉

  5. Shazam guide is already up 😉 Raven is on the way.

  6. Damage scaling is how much an attacks damage is decreased. For instance, a super normally does 39% damage, but will only do around 25% if you combo into it. Hope this helped 😉

  7. Catwoman Beginner's Guide is up! Hope you enjoy it!

  8. Lobo Beginner's Guide is already up 😉 check it out!

  9. Bane Beginner's Guide is up 😉 Hope you enjoy!

  10. Are you planning on doing a beginner's guide on Superman?

  11. Yeah, I am. He'll have to wait a bit though lol. A lot of people are in his way.

  12. I love the format you use for your videos. I'm the guy that likes to make my own combos, rather than just looking them up online ( discovered a raiden combo that does 55% in MK9 without using meter). This gives me just enough for me to get started, and not enough for me to say, "Oh, I'm just doing generic combo 1 into generic combo ender 4."

Thank you for this It gave me everything I needed to know without getting boring.

  13. That's the whole point! I want players to use my combos as a foundation to expand on themselves 😉
Half of the fun is making your own combos.

  14. correct me if im wrong but the last combo at the end it looks like qcb+3, instead of qcb+2 ?

  15. Yes! You are correct. It's fixed now. You deserve some kind of metal for being the first person to notice that lol.

  16. I think he should get a Pantera album, if he's getting metal.

  17. Also, forward+1 in running man can be meter burned, as it is the same basically as torpedo.

  18. Could u please create a video describing what a "hitbox" is? Thanks!

  19. I could. For now, I'll do my best to explain. A hit-box is the area of your character that can be hit. So, basically their body itself. If they crouch, then their hit-box is lower as well. However, this also applies to certain attacks. For instance, Flash has good reach, but it also extends his hit-box. Meaning that your opponent can hit you because your hit-box is closer to them. However, Lobo uses a chain and gun for some of his attacks. This extends his reach without extending his hit-box.

  20. Thank you so much!! If you could create a video that would be a great help for people

  21. I think they beefed the flash cuz when you do a huge combo with him you don't seem to do as much damage as you would do with another character

  22. I know ill never be a pro at this game. but I at least want to be good with the flash. A sonic the hedgehog fan comfortable using flash, go figure.

  23. How do you do the d+1, d+2, d+3 combo? Every time I try it I enter Running Man Stance.

  24. Just hold down while pressing 1, 2, 3. Don't press down more than once to avoid the Running Man stance.

  25. Those Flash combos are awesome. Been trying to beat Black Adam and Superman consistently and it is tough on Hard/Very Hard. Thanks man

  26. When you show the combo's whats the difference between say 3, 2, b and 3 – 2, b

  27. it doesn't make any sence, but it's more damaging to end 1st combo with another d f+1,  rather than b f+2

  28. I'm interested in getting into this game competitively (and the FGC in general), but I simply don't know where to start and all the terminology is overwhelming. I come from Competitive smash and would like to expand into more traditional ones, can anyone point towards a super, super noob friendly guide on concepts I should know to start getting into it? I'm hearing terms like vortex and scratching my head lol. Only things I understand from Smash are spacing, stage control, and neutral game, all else I'm gonna have to learn 🙁
