Dinozords, Nightwing's great at zoning. Down+Back+Y with the staff sends a shockwave at any range and the back+forward+A lunge closes distance between you and a zoner easily. The EX down+back+Y also does a ton of damage. I crush GL players easily and the moves I mentioned are great against Sinestro and Deathstroke spammers.
WHAT IS A WINGDING
I'm a level 28 in Ranked matches so I face people that are anywhere between lvl 25-30's so I get the cream of the crop. All you have to to is block that long Back+ A combo they do and it's child's play. Once someone masters Nightwing as a distance character with the staff, he puts up a great fight against GL. Most of GL's great combo's are initiated by hits in the mid so if you don't duck much, they can't do much and that's when the missle spam begins. Give what I said a try. The staff rules!

j2. f213, df2(mb), j2, j2, 2, 2, df 2.
or you can do j2, j3, db A(mb) for an extra 2 percent
down back 1* not a
what about people with xbox version?
The Escrima sticks are better because they are your combo and movement weapons, so you are going to use them for most of the time while the Staff is your heavy, keep enemy's at bay weapon when in a pinch and need to take there life quickly they work together not separately.

Wow man, fucking awesome tutorial vids! Seriously one of the best on YouTube! I'm a noob at fighting games and I would love to see a new character once or twice a week if your up to it!
so no GroundSpark(escrima) or GroundBlast(staff)? GroundBlast is one of the most useful moves with the staff. Both those attacks help Nightwing with his zoning. It looks like you focus alot on the escrima sticks. the staff is not to be taken lightly.

True but the combos are better on the escrima sticks and you have more mobility, staff is best for range and staff spin.
Freefall on the sticks, 3,3,3 is Nightwing's best simple combo, does more damage than 2,2 is just as easy to time and knocks the enemy back.
